About The Position

The Director of Compute Partner Marketing will lead the Partner Marketing strategy for the Compute business and maximize the impact and the mutual value of co-marketing programs. This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and Channel and will elevate Qualcomm as the partner of choice across the Compute customer base. As the hands-on leader of the Compute Partner Marketing team, the role requires: building strategic partnerships with Compute customers; developing and managing a team; and tight collaboration and alignment across multiple internal stakeholders, including, product marketing, sales, regions, events, communications and the business unit. This role requires a leader that is knowledgeable of the Compute industry and ecosystem, is innovative, nimble, can think at the speed of technology and execute with precision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 10+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and foster strategic marketing partner relationships focused on high-impact, results-driven, mutually beneficial opportunities
  • Create overall annual partner strategy in close collaboration with Sales; articulate narrative/messaging for each strategic partner
  • Build and oversee a comprehensive and fully integrated partner marketing framework — encompassing co-marketing programs, market development funds (MDF), joint go-to-market campaigns, and partner enablement content.
  • Bring external intelligence to the Marketing team for the Compute segment; champion the partner marketing function internally, securing executive alignment and cross-functional support to drive program impact
  • Develop and manage the Compute Partner Marketing team
  • Architect innovative joint marketing campaigns with global partners that drive product awareness, technology leadership, pipeline generation, and market share growth; while elevating the Snapdragon brand.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of partner marketing programs across digital, events, social, PR, and retail channels — ensuring consistency with brand standards and strategic messaging.
  • Lead the planning and execution of Qualcomm's presence at owned event, partner events and key industry events alongside partner organizations
  • Own the Compute MDF strategy and governance model, ensuring investment decisions are aligned to pipeline impact, partner strategic value, and brand objectives.
  • Develop ROI frameworks and measurement cadences to assess the effectiveness of partner marketing spend and continuously optimize program performance.
  • Align across Sales, Finance and Regions on investment allocations and expected returns
  • Articulate the value of Qualcomm partnership to our customers
  • Partner closely with all of the various marketing disciplines to ensure partner programs are integrated into Qualcomm's broader go-to-market efforts.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing leads across North America, EMEA, China, India, Latin America and Asia Pacific to adapt Compute partner programs for local market relevance and execution.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing Compute partner marketing team, establishing a culture of strategic thinking, creative excellence, and accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that reflects Qualcomm's values of innovation, inclusion, and integrity.
