Requirements

  • 8-10yrs+ responsibility delivering growth for P&Ls or similar financial metrics (e.g. revenue)
  • 8-10yrs+ in consumer marketplaces, including a deep understanding of the key growth levers
  • Proven ability to partner effectively across a matrix, including driving change thru alignment and influence
  • 5-7yrs+ of building and leading direct teams, as well as cross-functional (aka indirect) teams
  • Strong record of deeply engaging and understanding customers to champion their needs across a company
  • Mastery of influencing others through clear and compelling written and verbal comms
  • Operates with urgency, an intrinsic focus on making impact, and a sense of extreme ownership (especially when there is ambiguity)
  • Aligns with our eBay DNA - empower our community, innovate boldly, deliver with impact, be for everyone, and act with integrity

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for financial and operating performance of eBay’s C2C (consumer-to-consumer) marketplaces in the US and Canada
  • Enable eBay to grow C2C share by continuously improving our offerings, free structures, experiences, etc.
  • Engage with sellers to deepen our understanding of their needs and strengthen the broader seller community
  • Drive all go-to-market (GTM) activations, including coordination with cross-functional partners (e.g. marketing, product, GCX) and alignment with other markets
  • Develop rigorous analysis and business cases that drive key decisions, resource allocations, and corrective actions
  • Build and inspire a team of direct reports and indirect partners, so that we drive great customer and business results, while modeling eBay DNA
  • Report key business and project metrics, craft strategic narratives, and serve as a thought leader for executive leadership
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on C2C trends across customers and competitors
