About The Position

The Results Delivery Office (RDO) team is Schindler’s internal consulting arm. They partner with the CEO, Executive Council (C-Suite), and senior business leaders to identify opportunities to drive long-term profitable growth and lead high-impact change initiatives across the organization. RDO works closely with senior leadership across the organization to develop and deliver impactful solutions to some of the company’s most pressing strategic challenges. They provide thought leadership by leveraging a first-principles approach to solving problems and driving results. In addition to shaping business strategies, RDO often oversees its efforts through to implementation, ensuring the desired transformation is achieved and sustained. As an internal consulting group, they have joint accountability with their business leaders – they win when Schindler wins. The portfolio of work is diverse – spanning from the C-suite to the branch office and across a broad range of practice areas. RDO is looking for a highly motivated leader who wants to rapidly advance their career and professional skills while learning to improve and grow a business. RDO team members work side-by-side with managers across all levels of the organization and frequently engage with some of the company’s most senior leaders. Build and establish a high-performing internal consulting & strategy function charged with conceptualizing and executing programs to deliver on companies priorities. In this role, you will gain significant exposure to Schindler’s business leaders and C-level executives in action, both in U.S. and Swiss headquarters. RDO is looked to by the senior management team to serve as a talent pipeline to fast-track high potential individuals for management-level positions across the organization. Requirements

  • 7-10 years experience working in a quantitative (business-related) capacity, such as management consulting, strategy, investment banking, FP&A, engineering, etc.
  • Sound business acumen and understanding of financial statements
  • Willingness to travel, ~20-40%

  • Competitor analysis
  • Market assessments and trends
  • Development of new management tools and processes
  • Managing presentation content for business reviews with senior leadership team
  • Measuring and reporting operational and financial performance of field offices
  • Business case development
  • Direct and indirect staffing level assessment (efficiency + effectiveness)
  • Special projects and initiatives
  • Quantitative modeling and business analytics
  • Operations improvement strategy, opportunity assessment, and solution design
  • Collaborate with business leaders and support function team members to identify improvement opportunities and answer key strategic questions
  • Structure and manage project work
  • Perform primary and secondary research, including conducting interviews
  • Develop and lead group workshops and trainings
  • Synthesize business insights derived from analyses into clear and concise recommendations for business leaders
  • Perform assessments to develop insights and action plans to achieve best-in-class performance
  • Recommend and implement practical solutions while working directly with stakeholders to drive business improvements
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and leadership support to the junior team member
  • Complete performance management tasks for team member
