About The Position

Own activation of US Commercial Banking sales strategy by translating business priorities into segment‑specific enablement, execution readiness, and field adoption that drives measurable performance, client acquisition and revenue growth. This role involves serving as the primary enablement partner to Segment Leaders and Coverage Heads, activating sales strategy through segment‑specific sales plays, campaigns, and priority initiatives. It also includes leading go‑to‑market readiness for major launches and strategic initiatives, defining clear execution standards for priority sales initiatives, and participating in project/program design to provide advice and subject matter expertise. The role also entails leading the execution of priority sales initiatives and programs, ensuring sequencing, readiness, and rollout plans support successful adoption, and serving as the central execution owner during implementation. Additionally, it involves diagnosing adoption challenges and taking corrective action to improve uptake and consistency in the field, managing multiple programs/projects simultaneously, and resolving conflicting priorities. The role also includes leading and developing segment enablement leads responsible for business development and engagement, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide business context in the design, development, and implementation of business development programs and solutions, and ensuring consistent delivery and execution across U.S. Commercial Banking segments while accounting for market‑specific needs. Establishing structured field feedback loops to capture insights, barriers, and opportunities, and using field input to continuously refine enablement and execution approaches are also key. Finally, the role leads change and readiness efforts to support adoption of sales initiatives, process changes, and tools, partners with Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to align messaging and sales priorities, provides practical recommendations to sales leaders to strengthen execution and effectiveness, and applies BMO’s Risk Management Framework to execution and readiness activities. Requirements

  • Typically, 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in Business or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities
