About The Position

Spreetail is looking for a visionary Director of Brand Strategy to lead high-impact ecommerce growth initiatives across some of the world’s largest retail marketplaces, including Amazon, Walmart, and Target. This role is built for a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of brand growth, analytics, and team development. You’ll own multi-channel growth strategies, influence executive-level decisions, secure strategic brand investments, and lead a high-performing team responsible for driving traffic, conversion, profitability, and market share expansion. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in ecommerce, online retail, or marketplace environments with a proven track record of scaling brands across platforms such as Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Target Plus, and other major digital retail channels.
  • Experience building and leading multi-channel brand marketing strategies, including media planning, catalog optimization, and search growth initiatives.
  • Proven ability to analyze performance metrics such as traffic, conversion, ROAS, contribution margin, and market share to drive business decisions.
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills with experience influencing both internal stakeholders and external brand partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data-driven brand growth strategies that accelerate GMV, traffic, conversion, and profitability across major ecommerce channels.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing pod of Brand Strategy Managers through coaching, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Build strategic partnerships with brands to secure incremental marketing funding and maximize return on investment.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Merchandising, Creative, Content, and Channel teams to unlock new growth opportunities and improve execution speed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, reporting efficiencies, and incrementality opportunities that scale performance across the business.
