Director, Autonomous Vehicles Platform

NVIDIAβ€’Santa Clara, CA
β€’$320,000 - $488,750

About The Position

The Director, Autonomous Vehicles Platform will work closely with key OEM partners to lead end-to-end platform integration and adapt NVIDIA technology to OEM solutions. The role leads the architecture and development of vehicle and sensor abstraction layers that connect autonomous driving software with physical vehicle and sensor hardware, from low-level sensor inputs and actuator commands to scalable real-world hardware integration. The position leads the Vehicle Adaptation Layer (VAL) and Sensor Adaptation Layer (SAL) teams, builds mechanisms to streamline integration across vehicle and sensor configurations, and improves software frameworks through real-world and synthetic testing. The director also conducts in-vehicle tests, analyzes sensor and vehicle data, supports autonomous driving missions, and contributes production-quality C++ and CUDA software while following automotive safety and quality practices.
