Zotec Partners, (Multiple States)

About The Position

At Zotec Partners, we are seeking a Director, AR Strategy, Analytics & Operations to join our team. This is a remote position. In this hands-on leadership role, you will turn complex accounts receivable questions into data-backed operational action. You’ll investigate large datasets, identify root causes, recommend solutions, communicate with clients and senior leaders, and drive agreed-upon actions through completion. This role blends analytics, healthcare revenue cycle operations, project execution, and client communication. It may initially have limited or no direct reports, so success requires strong independent ownership and the ability to influence outcomes across teams.

Requirements

  • Healthcare revenue cycle management experience, ideally within professional billing or physician revenue cycle operations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, denial management, claims processing, payer behavior, and reimbursement.
  • Demonstrated success analyzing large or complex operational and financial datasets and identifying meaningful root causes.
  • An operational mindset and a track record of translating analysis into measurable process or performance improvements.
  • Working proficiency in SQL, with the ability to independently access and query data, is strongly preferred.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor complex findings for frontline teams, technical partners, clients, and executives.
  • Independent judgment and ownership, including the ability to move forward with limited structure once an objective is established.
  • Ability to influence without relying on formal authority and to coordinate work across departments.
  • Strong project execution skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Comfort challenging assumptions when the available evidence points in a different direction.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting hospital-based physician specialties such as Emergency Medicine, Radiology, or Anesthesia.
  • Experience with payer reimbursement, claims adjudication, workflow design, or automation.
  • Experience partnering with technical, product, or development teams.
  • Client-facing revenue cycle experience and cross-functional project leadership.
  • Experience working with outsourced or offshore operational teams or leading people.

Responsibilities

  • Own complex AR investigations and selected operational functions from initial question through resolution and ongoing monitoring.
  • Query and analyze large datasets to identify AR, denial, claim rejection, reimbursement, payer, and workflow trends.
  • Determine root causes by connecting data findings to operational processes, then translate findings into practical action plans.
  • Write and modify SQL queries used for operational analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare client-specific AR performance reviews and concise executive-level summaries of complex issues.
  • Participate in and lead selected internal, client, payer, and executive meetings on behalf of AR leadership.
  • Coordinate solutions across AR, EDI, Coding, Client Relationship Management, technology, and other operational teams.
  • Develop recurring monitoring to confirm that corrective actions are effective and issues remain resolved.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve AR performance.

Benefits

  • network of highly experienced professionals
  • operate with autonomy
  • resources and backing of other professionals in a similar role
