About The Position

The Director, AI Security Enablement will build and lead ABM’s enterprise AI security strategy, embedding security into artificial intelligence, machine learning, and agentic AI across the business. The scope includes AI security tooling, internal AI/ML development, and third-party AI products and vendors. The director will establish the guardrails, governance, and technical controls that enable secure adoption of AI while protecting the business, its customers, and employees. This role has direct people-leadership responsibility for building and developing a team of approximately three AI/ML security specialists. It also requires matrix leadership to coordinate security outcomes with engineers, developers, data scientists, and vendor teams. The director will manage concurrent security-enablement initiatives, track them through completion, and communicate progress to technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. The role requires hands-on expertise in traditional cybersecurity and modern AI security, including LLMs, generative AI, and agentic AI architectures. The director will establish cross-functional partnerships across Security, Engineering, Data Science and AI/ML, Legal, Risk, Privacy, and Operations. The position reports directly to the SVP & CISO and follows a hybrid Monday–Thursday model, with occasional travel based on business needs.
