About The Position

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. As the Director of Advanced Analytics, you will build a more connected world by transforming complex data into growth strategies that help customers, markets and technology come together. In this role, you’ll use advanced analytics, competitive intelligence and scenario planning to shape how the business invests and competes across fiber, wireless and converged services. Your leadership will help local and enterprise teams identify opportunities, anticipate market changes and make informed decisions that accelerate sustainable growth.

Requirements

Advanced data analysis: Ability to analyze diverse data sets from internal and external sources, data lakes and enterprise data warehouses, including environments such as eCDW and BIDW.
Data platform expertise: Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL and data warehouse or lakehouse technologies such as Snowflake or Databricks Delta Lake.
Statistical modeling: Expertise applying advanced statistical and traditional modeling methods, including linear regression, logistic regression and time-series analysis, to quantify variance and support decisions.
Predictive analytics: Experience building, testing and validating predictive models across multiple data samples and confirming their accuracy in real-world scenarios.
Analytics and cloud technologies: Proficiency with tools and platforms such as Tableau, Palantir, Power BI AI Insights, Databricks, H2O Driverless AI, AWS, Microsoft Azure and Azure Synapse Analytics.
Financial and scenario modeling: Ability to create complex models, assess alternative market scenarios and measure economic value, revenue, profitability and investment returns.
Related experience: 10 or more years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, market strategy, scenario planning or a related field.
Strategic leadership: Experience designing and executing strategies that support broader organizational objectives and leading the hands-on implementation of those strategies.
People leadership: Experience leading large teams, including supervisors and career-level professionals, with responsibility for departmental programs and workforce decisions.
Business partnership: Experience advising market, enterprise or other business leaders on growth opportunities, competitive threats, investment priorities and measurable business outcomes.
Executive communication: Experience translating complex analytics and market intelligence into clear recommendations, strategic priorities, executive narratives and multi-year growth roadmaps.

Nice To Haves

A master’s degree from an accredited university in a quantitative field such as data science, mathematics, statistics, engineering or physics is desired.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of data-driven growth strategies across local markets.
Translate advanced analytics, market intelligence and scenario modeling into actionable business plans that inform investment, resource allocation and go-to-market priorities.
Partner closely with market and enterprise leaders to identify and quantify long-term growth opportunities, assess competitive threats and determine where and how the business should invest and compete.
Using hyper-local analytics and modeling, you’ll evaluate differences across markets, cities and customer segments and turn those insights into targeted growth actions.
Develop strategic business cases and multi-year roadmaps across fiber penetration, wireless share, convergence, customer value, revenue and profitability.
By combining strategic thinking, advanced analytics, financial acumen and executive storytelling, you’ll transform complex market intelligence into clear recommendations, priorities and plans.
Develop local-market growth strategies: Translate data, competitive intelligence and market dynamics into actionable strategies that drive growth across fiber, wireless and converged services.
Lead advanced analytics and scenario planning: Gather, analyze and interpret diverse internal and external data sets to identify causal relationships, trigger points, behavioral patterns, predictions and long-term opportunities.
Build models and business cases: Develop and test predictive models, forward-looking market scenarios and strategic business cases that evaluate customer value, market share, revenue, profitability and potential returns.
Guide investment decisions: Quantify economic value and recommend investment, resource allocation, process, financial, business model and go-to-market priorities based on market-level insights.
Deliver business intelligence: Create dashboards, reports, charts and executive-level presentations that explain data patterns, market relationships and recommended business direction.
Lead strategy execution and teams: Design and implement departmental strategies and programs, oversee large teams that may include supervisors and career-level employees, and influence hiring, termination, disciplinary, promotion and compensation decisions for direct and indirect reports.
