This role requires a full-time, in-office presence at the designated AT&T work location (five days per week) to support leadership collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and business objectives. Overview: AT&T is changing how America connects at home. We're expanding our fiber footprint, scaling AT&T Internet Air (AiA) as a fast, wireless home internet option, and moving customers off legacy copper networks onto better technology. Each of these moves depends on sharp, timely decisions about where to build, whom to target, how to price, and how to keep customers satisfied. As Director of Advanced Analytics for Consumer Broadband, you'll lead the team that turns data into those decisions. You'll own the analytics and data science agenda across the full broadband portfolio (Fiber, AiA and copper) and partner with Marketing, Finance, Network, Sales, Customer Care and Product leaders to grow subscribers, cut churn, improve unit economics and deliver a smooth migration from copper. This is a senior, highly visible role with a direct line to executive decision-making and measurable impact on one of AT&T's most important growth engines. Why This Role Matters Consumer Broadband sits at a turning point. Three products with very different economics and customer journeys must be managed as one portfolio: Fiber is our flagship growth product, where build prioritization, penetration and speed-tier mix drive long-term returns. AT&T Internet Air extends broadband to customers outside the fiber footprint and depends on smart capacity management and careful eligibility decisions. Copper customers need a thoughtful path to next-generation technology that protects the customer relationship and the revenue base while network costs come down.We need a leader who can see across all three, build a unified view of the broadband customer, and bring rigor, speed and business judgment to our biggest bets. Key Goals (First 12–18 Months) Build a unified broadband analytics foundation. Create a single, trusted view of households, addresses, eligibility, subscribers and performance across Fiber, AiA and copper. Accelerate profitable growth. Deliver models and insights that measurably improve fiber penetration, AiA gross adds and convergence (broadband + wireless) attach. Reduce churn and improve customer lifetime value. Deploy predictive churn, save and next-best-action models that drive retention results you can measure. Optimize the copper migration. Build segmentation, propensity and sequencing models that raise migration rates to Fiber or AiA while reducing churn and cost-to-serve. Inform capital and network decisions. Provide market-level demand and return forecasts that shape fiber build priorities and AiA capacity and eligibility decisions. Institutionalize test-and-learn. Set up a rigorous experimentation and measurement practice so offers, pricing and campaigns are judged on true incremental impact. Scale AI responsibly. Move models from prototype to production with strong MLOps, monitoring and governance, and apply generative AI where it creates real value. Business Needs This Role Will Address A fragmented view of the broadband customer across products, systems and channels Limited visibility into the true incremental impact of promotions, pricing and marketing spend Rising competition from cable, other fiber builders and fixed-wireless providers The need to balance AiA growth against wireless network capacity Complex copper-retirement decisions that affect customers, revenue and regulatory commitments Pressure to connect analytics to capital allocation and hold investments accountable to returns Demand across the business for faster, self-serve insight and fewer one-off requests
