About The Position

Visa is hiring a director-level Account Executive for its Community Sales team in the East Region. The role leads a portfolio of community banks and credit unions across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. It is accountable for sales, sustained payment volume and revenue growth, client retention, and positive NPS scores. The Account Executive serves as a strategic client leader and trusted advisor to C-suite and senior executives, shaping clients’ long-term payment strategies and delivering measurable commercial outcomes for Visa. The position requires clear communication of Visa’s value proposition to varied audiences and expertise in consultative selling and contract negotiations, including independently explaining critical contract terms and securing mutually agreeable contracts. The successful candidate will be a proactive, strategic, solution-oriented sales and business development leader with payments ecosystem experience, executive-level banking and credit union relationships, a strong pipeline and territory-management record, and the ability to execute ambitious quotas. The position is remote. Ohio or Michigan is preferred, but candidates anywhere within the region are acceptable. Remote employees may be required to attend a Visa office with scheduled notice. Work hours vary based on departmental needs, and travel is required 5–10% of the time. The role is performed in an office setting and involves sitting and standing at a desk, communicating in person and by telephone, and frequently using standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.
