As we expand our Structural Restoration service offerings in the Quebec market, we are looking for a driven and passionate engineer to further develop our practice. The Director, Structural Restoration will lead the expansion of our structural restoration practice in Quebec, managing a team of engineers and designers on a wide variety of projects, including the evaluation, analysis, and design of restoration work for existing residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with clients, have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and be passionate about building lasting relationships. A commitment to providing outstanding client service and technical excellence in delivering practical and creative solutions is essential. This individual must be comfortable communicating with contractors, working on active construction sites, and delegating work to other team members. Curiosity, a strong work ethic with the ability to quickly assume responsibility, and a team-oriented mindset capable of working independently with minimal supervision are essential qualities for success in this role. As mentioned above, this position also includes management responsibilities. In collaboration with leaders from our Ontario, Quebec, and Eastern Canada team, the Director will be responsible for developing and managing a local team of building science experts to support their success, with dedicated support from our Kingston and Ottawa building science and restoration team.
