About The Position

Logilys, a division of Harris Computer, is seeking a Business Development Director to support the growth of its client base and the visibility of its Prodon and Donna software suite. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the incumbent will play a key role in acquiring new clients and developing strategic partnerships. This position is for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented leader who enjoys being in the field, prospecting, and representing high-value software solutions. This exciting opportunity will allow you to actively contribute to the growth of a recognized, well-established company supported by a competent and engaged team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, ideally in the software field.
  • Demonstrated experience in software sales in vertical or niche markets, with proven results.
  • Good command of French and English is required as the incumbent will need to communicate frequently in both languages, both orally and in writing.
  • Availability for occasional travel (approximately 5% of the time), mainly in Quebec.

  • Any experience in the philanthropy or non-profit sector is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies aimed at acquiring new clients for Prodon and Donna software.
  • Conduct active solicitation (prospecting, calls, meetings, demonstrations).
  • Represent the company at events, conferences, trade shows, and industry meetings.
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and management teams to ensure strategy alignment.
  • Monitor and update sales forecasts.
  • Meet and exceed growth objectives defined in the annual budget forecasts.
  • Contribute to the evolution of product positioning and sales discourse.
  • Collaborate with the management team and other departments to define long-term growth strategies.
  • Make clear, timely, and results-oriented decisions.
  • Work closely with the product manager to ensure brand and offering consistency.
  • Act as a Logilys ambassador to clients and partners.
