About The Position
ConAgra Brands is a multinational company producing well-known brands such as Snack Pack, Hunt’s, Alymer, Orville Redenbacher, VH, Pogo, Healthy Choice, and many others. In Quebec, we are the only plant representing Conagra and we have approximately 200 employees. The plant is located in Boisbriand near highways 15 and 640. We manufacture the famous Pogo brand products and VH sauces. This SQF-certified plant is under the inspection of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and obtained its HACCP recognition in 2003. The values of accident prevention, quality, and human resource development characterize the work environment at the heart of our plant. DIRECTEUR INGÉNIERIE & AMÉLIORATION CONTINUE A strategic role. A real impact. A transformation to lead. Are you known for your leadership in a manufacturing environment and your ability to deliver concrete results? We are looking for a Director of Engineering & Continuous Improvement to play a key role in the performance, optimization, and pursuit of modernization and automation of our plant. In this position, you don't just manage – you influence, structure, and transform ways of doing things.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience in managing major projects and continuous improvement
- Mobilizing leadership and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Strong results orientation and strong analytical skills
- Bilingualism (French / English)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in operational transformation or advanced Lean (important asset)
Responsibilities
- Define and champion the site's technical vision (engineering and utilities)
- Develop and lead major projects (CAPEX, modernization, transformation)
- Optimize overall performance by eliminating losses and improving KPIs
- Lead the evolution of our continuous improvement culture
- Mobilize and grow multidisciplinary teams
- Accelerate digital transformation and the integration of new technologies
- Influence strategic decisions in collaboration with plant management and corporate partners to increase our product portfolio.
