Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Engineer title or eligibility for the OIQ.
  • Significant experience in an engineering, consulting, manufacturing, or energy infrastructure environment.
  • Experience in leadership roles with performance responsibility.
  • Ability to operate in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Recognized expertise in power electricity.
  • Concrete experience in medium and high voltage, electrical substations, switchgear, protection and control systems, and specialized power studies.
  • Experience in managing technical teams or practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, structure, and make business decisions.
  • Natural, mobilizing, and credible leadership.
  • Excellent understanding of operational, human, and commercial issues.

Responsibilities

  • Mobilize, coach, and develop engineering teams based in Sherbrooke and Longueuil.
  • Develop a culture of performance, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Support technical leaders and talents in their growth.
  • Act as a credible reference in power electricity.
  • Support the execution of complex and strategic projects.
  • Ensure technical quality and rigor of execution.
  • Contribute to technical directions and best practices.
  • Drive the operational and financial performance of the activity.
  • Participate in strategic growth decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Identify market development opportunities.
