About The Position

Direct Support Staff help people grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships with the individuals they serve. The role supports participants in taking part in their communities and enjoying favorite activities, and helps them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Staff assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs.

The listed schedule is Saturday 6:00 p.m.–10:00 a.m. and Sunday 10:00 p.m.–10:00 a.m., with an asleep overnight designation. Pay is $16.00 per hour and $11.41 per hour while asleep.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
