About The Position

Sevita is hiring a Direct Support Staff member to support people with developmental goals and help them grow, learn, and live well. The role involves building meaningful relationships with the individuals served, helping them participate in the community and enjoy activities they choose, and supporting goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Staff also assist with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. The posting lists one full-time opening and a two-week schedule. Week 1: Sunday 6 a.m.–12 p.m.; Monday 7–10 a.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday 6 a.m.–2 p.m.; Friday 7 a.m.–3 p.m. Week 2: Monday 7–10 a.m.; Tuesday 7 a.m.–3 p.m.; Wednesday 6 a.m.–2 p.m.; Thursday 2–9 p.m.; Saturday 7 a.m.–3 p.m. The wage is $16 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
