About The Position

Provide hands on care, daily assistance and community integration support to individuals with intellectual, developmental or physical disabilities. Work in a supportive uplifting environment helping individuals with daily living supports such as personal hygiene, getting dressed and ready for the day, cooking, light cleaning and laundry. You may administer medications, track health needs and accompany individuals to appointments, jobs, shopping and other community integration. Being an advocate for individuals for supporting independent living, rights and choices.

Requirements

• Ability to provide hands-on care.
• Willingness to assist with personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Capability to administer medications and track health needs.
• Ability to accompany individuals to various appointments and community activities.
• Advocacy skills for independent living, rights, and choices.

Responsibilities
