About The Position

Options Residential is a 245D-licensed program serving individuals with mental illness, brain injuries, or substance use concerns in four-person group homes and individual apartment settings. Its rehabilitative residential services help residents work toward personal independence goals. Direct Support Professionals provide varied support depending on the program, including personal care when appropriate, skill development, cooking and feeding assistance, support with hobbies, studies, and social activities, medication administration, and recreational activities. Training is provided; no prior experience is necessary. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The posting also notes that part-time, full-time, and weekend hours are available.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to assist clients with personal care, including dressing, bathing or showering, and toileting.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Basic computer skills.
• No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.

Responsibilities
