About The Position

Options Residential is a 245D licensed program serving individuals with mental illness, brain injuries, or substance use concerns. It operates four-person group homes and individual apartment settings. Its rehabilitative residential services aim to help individuals achieve their personal goals for independence.

Direct Support Professionals provide a variety of services to residents, with duties varying by program. The role includes supporting residents’ care, skills, daily activities, medication needs, and recreation. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The position pays $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to provide personal care, including dressing, bathing or showering, and toileting assistance.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Basic computer skills.
• No degree or prior experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver services, including personal care when appropriate and necessary.
• Teach and maintain residents’ skills.
• Assist with cooking and feeding.
• Support residents with hobbies, studies, and social activities.
• Administer medication.
• Participate in recreational activities with residents.
