About The Position

Bancroft is hiring an onsite Direct Support Professional for its Lakeside Program in Swedesboro, New Jersey. The role supports autistic individuals and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a stable residential setting, helping them build skills, independence, and the opportunity to realize their potential. The position is scheduled for 32 hours per week: Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The hiring range is $19.61–$20.00 per hour, with additional incentives. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Be able and willing to work weekends.
• Have a current driver’s license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic individuals and/or people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
