About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a full-time, onsite Direct Support Professional for its Gloucester Program in Woodstown, New Jersey. The role supports autistic people and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in an adult residential setting. DSPs empower residents to build skills, pursue independence, and reach their potential while supporting Bancroft’s mission, vision, and core values. The position is scheduled for 32 hours per week: Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The stated hiring range is $19.61–$20.00 per hour, plus additional incentives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic people and/or individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
