About The Position

Bancroft is hiring an onsite Direct Support Professional for its Lakeside Program in Swedesboro, New Jersey, within the Adult Residential department. The role supports autistic people and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build daily living skills, develop independence, and reach their potential through personalized care. The position is scheduled for 32 hours per week: Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The stated hiring range is $19.61–$20.00 per hour, plus additional incentives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in a team and be open to learning new skills.
• Be able and willing to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic individuals and/or individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or bachelor's degree.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
