About The Position

Bancroft is hiring an onsite Direct Support Professional for its Lakeside Program in Carneys Point, New Jersey. The DSP supports autistic individuals and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build skills, pursue independence, and reach their potential through personalized plans of care. The role is part of Bancroft’s Adult Program and involves working as part of a supportive care team while communicating with residents, families, and guardians.

The listed schedule is Sunday 9 a.m.–11 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday 2 p.m.–11 p.m., for 32 hours per week. The posting describes this as full-time. The current hiring range is $19.61–$20.00 per hour, plus additional incentives.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Current driver's license in good standing.
• Strong desire to work with autistic individuals and/or people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
