About The Position
Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a young man, 22 years old, in the Liverpool, NY area. The DSP will assist him in navigating the community, developing independent living skills, and encouraging him to try new hobbies and activities to increase his independence. Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities will be a plus.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
