Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a young man 22yrs old in the Liverpool, NY area. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is open-minded, energetic, respectful and dedicated staff to engage in activities with him in the community. The DSP will assist him in navigating around the community; DSP will assist with independent living skills. DSP will encourage him to try new hobbies/activities. DSP will help Increase Independence.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities will be a plus.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
