About The Position

There are only part-time or split shift positions available for the 11pm-7am shift at this time. If you answered YES, then consider joining our Devereux Team as a Direct Support Professional! Devereux Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional at Devereux, you will provide safe, supportive care to residents at the Pocono Center, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, supporting daily routines and community outings, attending training sessions, and completing special assignments as directed by the coordinator.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or GED required
One (1) year preferred of human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults preferred
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Able to complete required new hire orientation class
Possess a strong passion for working with and helping children and adolescents with special needs
Possess a valid license

Benefits

Competitive Pay: $18.00–$20.52/hr based on experience, education, and shift
