About The Position
Direct Support Professionals make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role provides safe, supportive care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, supporting daily routines and community outings, attending training sessions, and completing special assignments. The position is responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living and promoting growth in the areas of functional skills, personal needs, communication, and personal adjustment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year preferred of human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, supportive care to residents.
- Ensure residents' physical, emotional, and personal needs are met.
- Assist with hygiene.
- Support daily routines and community outings.
- Attend training sessions.
- Complete special assignments as directed by the coordinator.
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living.
- Promote growth in functional skills, personal needs, communication, and personal adjustment.

- Competitive Pay: $18.00–$20.52/hr based on experience, education, and shift
