Direct Support Professionals - All Shifts Full time availablity for the 3pm-11pm or split shift only. Devereux Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living and promoting growth in the areas of functional skills, personal needs, communication, and personal adjustment. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year preferred of human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, supportive care to residents at the Pocono Center, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met.
Assisting with hygiene.
Supporting daily routines and community outings.
Attending training sessions.
Completing special assignments as directed by the coordinator.
Assisting individuals with activities of daily living.
Promoting growth in the areas of functional skills, personal needs, communication, and personal adjustment.
