Full-Time Direct Support Professional - Columbus OH
About The Position
PALS is seeking experienced, energetic, strong, and dedicated staff to support adults with developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals provide supervision and support, assist with activities of daily living, provide safe transportation, and accurately document care and services. They also serve as friends and mentors, planning, encouraging, and carrying out social and occupational activities. The role is located at the Columbus Day Program in Columbus, Ohio, with a stated pay range of $17.50–$19.00 per hour. Pay may vary based on experience, job category, location, and shift.
Requirements
- Successfully pass the DOT physical.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Acceptable criminal background verification.
- Willingness to provide fun yet responsible supervision and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
