About The Position
PALS is seeking experienced, energetic, strong, and dedicated staff to support adults with developmental disabilities. Direct Support Professionals provide supervision and support, assist with activities of daily living, provide safe transportation, and accurately document care and services. The role also involves serving as a friend and mentor, and planning, encouraging, and carrying out social and occupational activities.
Requirements
- Successfully pass a DOT physical.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Acceptable criminal background verification.
- Willingness to provide fun yet responsible supervision and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in verbal and written skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
- Maintain current and annual training requirements.
