About The Position
Starkey supports adults with disabilities to live full, safe, and satisfying lives. We operate multiple group homes and day programs across the Wichita area. This role provides an opportunity to work close to home while making a real impact in your community. No experience is required as we provide paid training, ongoing support, and opportunities to grow. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll work in one of our group homes located throughout Wichita, helping individuals with daily living and personal goals. Every day is different-and every day, your work makes a difference. We offer a supportive team environment where your work is appreciated. With multiple locations across Wichita, we'll do our best to match you with a site and schedule that fits your needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or WorkKeys Bronze
- Valid driver's license (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to pass background and drug screenings
- Available for 2–4 weeks of paid training (M–F, 8:30–5:00)
Nice To Haves
- Spanish or ASL bilingual skills (not required)
Responsibilities
- Support adults with disabilities in daily activities
- Teach life skills and encourage independence
- Assist with personal care and household tasks
