About The Position

SPIN is seeking a highly motivated Direct Support Professional BHA to support individuals with behavioral health needs compassionately and professionally. The role focuses on helping people achieve personal goals and improve their quality of life, while working with a team of professionals to provide a high standard of care. The position is hourly and scheduled for 32 hours per week: Sunday and Monday, 4 p.m.–12 a.m., and Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. New employees must attend a 2.5-week, hourly paid training program from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Benefits begin after completion of training. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
Availability to attend the 2.5-week hourly paid training program, scheduled 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
At least one year of experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Work experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and positive behavioral support approaches.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
