About The Position

Join Devereux New Jersey as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a positive impact on the lives of adults served by our organization. As part of our Adult Services team, you will work with dedicated professionals to create meaningful and productive lives for individuals in need. This role offers opportunities to learn and grow in the Behavioral Healthcare field, with comprehensive training provided in crisis prevention/intervention, trauma-informed care, CPR, and first aid. Flexible schedules are available, including full-time, part-time, and on-call shifts, with evening and night options that include weekends. Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Valid non-provisional driver's license.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
  • Empathetic and possess a team approach to care for individuals.
