About The Position

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports people in reaching personal goals, making choices, and living as independently as possible. The role includes helping with daily activities, encouraging community involvement, and maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean environment. The position is available in Buffalo, NY, and surrounding areas, with full-time and part-time shifts available during the day, evening, and overnight. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour and increases to $20 per hour after successful completion of a six-month probationary period.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license that meets agency policy.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
• Passion for helping others and making a difference.
• Reliability, patience, and compassion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
