About The Position

Living Resources is hosting an Open-Interview Event for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) at their Main Office located at 300 Washington Ave. Extension, Albany NY 12203, on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, from 11 am to 4 pm. Requirements

Passionate about making a difference
At least 18 years of age
Have flexibility to work varying hours and to support other locations
Have a Valid NYS Driver's license and a HS Diploma or GED
Must be able to perform all tasks which require lifting, re-positioning and transferring without restriction

Responsibilities

Support individuals in Group Homes with their daily activities, including personal care.
Work closely with individuals to help them achieve personal goals for independent living.
Participate within the community with individuals to help them reach their goals.
Volunteer with individuals to reach their short and long-term goals.
Work with individuals at on-site day program settings, engaging in educational and fun activities both on-site and off-site.
Provide supports as specified in the Life Plan and Staff Action Plan to people with developmental disabilities living at home with family, in a residential setting, or independently in the community.
