About The Position
Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area with a young lady who requires assistance due to a developmental delay. She is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with transportation to multiple activities including driving lessons. She enjoys pottery, art, and going to the park as well. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, energetic and enthusiastic.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma/GED
- Reliable transportation
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule
- Technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience a plus
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with transportation to multiple activities, including driving lessons.
- Support the individual in maintaining independence at home and in community settings.

Benefits
