About The Position

Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges in living with dignity, independence, and confidence. The role provides hands-on assistance with daily living, follows individualized care plans, administers medications according to policy, and promotes a safe and supportive environment. Some roles require travel between Residential and Day programs.

The listed schedule is Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The position pays $18 per hour. Chimes offers paid training and professional development in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 or more pounds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Meet one driving-record requirement: at least 3 years of unsuspended driving history with no more than 3 points, or at least 2 years of unsuspended driving history with a clean driving record.

• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• For some roles, travel and provide support between Residential and Day programs.
