About The Position
Direct Support Professional (DSP) - $13.00 - $16.00/hr. First Resources Corp. is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join their Fairfield Residential team. The role focuses on empowering individuals to live independent, fulfilling lives. The position offers a bi-weekly rotating schedule designed for consistent hours and work-life balance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and auto insurance.
- A compassionate heart and the physical ability to assist with client transfers (if needed).
- Reliability and a commitment to helping others grow.
- Satisfactory results on a background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily goals like grocery shopping, cooking, and community social outings.
- Assist with hygiene, medication administration, and mobility (including Hoyer lifts and transfers when needed).
- Follow and document progress on Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs) to ensure every client's unique needs are met.
- Transport clients to appointments and local events.
