Direct Support Professional
About The Position
The Direct Support Professional provides quality care, direction, guidance, and assistance to customers with daily activities, including bathing and bathroom functions, feeding, menu planning, dressing, grooming, taking medication or administering treatments, and housework. The role helps customers make and keep appointments, provides or arranges transportation for errands, and serves as a companion. The employee supports customers in achieving agreed-upon goals to improve their quality of life and integration into the community. They provide written daily updates about each shift’s activities using an online platform and observe the customer’s condition and surroundings to help ensure safety and success, including monitoring equipment and materials. The position is in Bauxite, Arkansas, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 5 a.m.–7 a.m. and 4 p.m.–10 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Understand and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow ICM policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
Responsibilities

- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and endorse ICM’s mission and vision.
- Follow ICM policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures, and seek clarification when needed.
- Understand and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
