About The Position
Join our Virginia Beach team near the Oceanfront as a Direct Support Professional and help individuals with developmental disabilities live their best lives – all while enjoying a fun, flexible job with room to grow. This role offers opportunities to go to concerts, amusement parks, and community outings with the people you support, helping them build independence and reach their goals. We provide free paid training and a Career Pathways Program for career growth. Flexible schedules are available, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The pay rate is competitive, ranging from $17.36 to $23.36 per hour, with additional holiday pay.
Requirements
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves
- Ability to assist individuals with completing activities of daily living.
- Experience through education or work history that demonstrates reliability/dependability.
- Skill to complete satisfactorily: Medication Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, First Aid/CPR, Mandt, and other requirements associated with orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment.
- Skill in locating and accessing community resources.
