Direct Support Professional Full-time
About The Position
I Am Boundless is a nonprofit organization that assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and has served Ohio for over 40 years. The organization’s mission is to build a world that realizes the boundless potential of all people. The Direct Support Professional provides direct programming and/or dietary, laundry, toileting, housekeeping, or other support to people with I/DD. The role follows a rotating two-week schedule: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with Sundays and Fridays off in week one, and Mondays and Saturdays off in week two. Candidates selected for pre-employment screening must complete a background check, drug screen, and health screen as applicable.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certifications for adults, children, and infants, as well as delegated nursing qualifications; training will be provided if not already certified.
