Direct Support Professional - Day Services
About The Position
Mozaic is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its Day Services program in Auburn, New York, serving Cayuga County. The role supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they pursue fulfilling, independent lives. You will provide encouragement and opportunities for people to explore interests, build skills, and work toward personal goals, helping foster a safe, positive, and empowering environment. The work includes supporting daily activities, community involvement, and personal growth. Mozaic provides paid training, career development opportunities, and a supportive culture grounded in compassion, respect, and person-centered values. The position pays $17.92–$18.67 per hour, based on experience, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for 37.5 hours per week. Occasional evenings or weekends may be needed. The job is located in Cayuga County (Auburn, NY).
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid New York State driver's license.
- A caring attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with developmental disabilities is valued.
- Experience as a CNA, health aide, caregiver, or DSP is a plus.
