About The Position
Grow Developmental Disability Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities. This role involves providing one-on-one support to individuals, assisting them in living more independent and fulfilling lives. As a person-centered agency, we focus on creating plans tailored to each individual's goals, treating everyone with respect and dignity. The DSP will support daily routines, community involvement, and personal goals in an engaging, respectful, and empowering manner. This is a meaningful role where your work truly matters each day.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of caregiving or related experience.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Smartphone required.
- Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Experience supporting speech and developmental needs.

Responsibilities
- Support daily routines including cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
- Help clients engage with the community.
- Follow established care plans and goals.
- Communicate effectively with families and the support team.
- Complete necessary notes and documentation.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
