About The Position

Join our Direct Support Professional (DSP) team supporting adults with disabilities in our Supported Employment Team Program. At Rise, we believe every person deserves the chance to live a life filled with purpose. In this role, you will support individuals with disabilities in developing the skills needed to succeed in community-based employment. You’ll provide hands-on training, promote independence, and help individuals achieve their personal and professional goals. This role requires strong communication, adaptability, and a commitment to person-centered practices. This position may be filled at the Direct Support Professional Level I, Level II or Level III, depending on qualifications, experience, and program needs.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Ability to meet DHS Rule 11 and Rise MVR background check requirements
• Reliable attendance
• Strong teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Work directly with adults with disabilities to support their goals in both community and program settings.
• Training and assisting person served to perform tasks efficiently.
• Ensure quality and production levels are met.
• Track and record person served individual work production.
• Provide support services to four to eight people.
• Implement goals based on the individual's ability to carry out the training objectives.
• Regularly communicate with team members.
• Supervise persons served while working and during break times.
• Provides transportation services as needed. Rise's vehicle may be provided.
• Provide direct support in community employment settings
• Assist individuals learning and performing job tasks
• Support implementation of individual goals and plans
• Support skill development and increasing independence
• Assist with job coaching and task analysis
• Assist with documentation and problem-solving
• Perform all level 1 and level 2 responsibilities
• Lead daily operations of employment sites
• Train, mentor, and support team members
• Complete and oversee documentation and reporting
• Ensure compliance with program, safety and quality standards
