About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join the team in and around Wayne County, PA! BAYADA’s special needs aides - DSPs - work 1:1 in home and community settings as a companion and mentor. We specialize in assisting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities reach their full potential!
Requirements
- One year experience working or volunteering with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, hygiene)
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking and cleaning
- Accompany clients on errands, appointments, and community integration activities
- Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies
