Direct Support Professional Job Mentor (DSP)
About The Position
Witco is currently seeking Job Coaches to provide on the job support and mentorship to people with disabilities at their places of employment. Job Support Professionals work with people with disabilities at their job site to provide skills training with job tasks and interpersonal skills necessary to acquire and maintain community employment. Assist with job skill development through positive reinforcement and encourage independence by prompting and redirecting. Advocate to promote inclusion, encourage attitudes and behaviors that enhance community inclusion. Promote Physical and Emotional Well-being. This is a great job for people looking for career development opportunities in the human service field or to gain experience working for a nonprofit.
Requirements
- Must complete and obtain clearance for Criminal History, with fingerprinting.
- Must provide employment references.
- Must pass a pre-hire drug screen.
