Direct Support Professional - Independent Contractor (AD)
About The Position
InReach is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide companionship, care, and support to an adult male with developmental disabilities in the Charlotte area (28269). This role involves providing Community Living and Support, Day Supports, and Community Networking Services for 24 hours a week. The DSP will assist the individual in their home living environment, help them identify and acquire valued social roles, facilitate community integration, and support the development of healthy social habits. Responsibilities also include dispensing medication and monitoring dosages, as well as transporting and accompanying the individual to various activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population
Responsibilities
