About The Position
InReach is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are willing to make a difference in someone's life by providing companionship, care, and support. This role is for an Independent Contractor to provide Supported Employment Services for a female individual with developmental disabilities in the Charlotte area (28215). The position requires 10 hours per week, with a schedule of Monday-Thursday before 3 PM and flexible hours on Friday-Sunday. The pay rate is $23.07/hr.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population
Responsibilities
- Instruction and assistance in home living environments.
- Help individual identify and acquire valued social roles.
- Facilitate community integration.
- Help individual develop healthy social habits.
- Dispense medication and monitoring dosages.
- Transport and accompany individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities.
