Direct Support Professional - Independent Contractor (DH)
About The Position
InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work as an Independent Contractor for a male individual with Developmental Disabilities in the Charlotte area (28269). The DSP will provide Community Living Support (CLS) and Respite Services for 28 hours per week. This role involves providing companionship, care, and support to help the individual identify and acquire valued social roles, facilitate community integration, and develop healthy social habits. Responsibilities include instruction and assistance in home living environments, dispensing medication and monitoring dosages, and transporting/accompanying the individual to various activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience with the I/DD population
Responsibilities
